STI stands for Shimano Total Integration. The brake and gear levers are now built into one package, so you don’t have to move your hands off the brake levers to change gears. Simply pushing the brake lever sideways shifts the gears in one direction. A small lever on the inside of the hood of the levers moves the shifts the gears in the other direction. This makes it easier to change gear quickly and accurately, without having to move your hands away from the brake levers.
A lightweight wheelset and alloy components keep the weight to a minimum, while the sportive geometry give you the versatility to use the Aquila is events such as triathlons, criterium racing, road racing, endurance events and even audax rides.
